The Female Founder Summit 2025

The Client Services and Ops team at Further spent Sunday at The Female Founder Summit at Pier 17.

After searching for events that spotlight women, non-binary, and gender-diverse professionals working in the creative world beyond design, we found few that spoke to our corner of the industry - so this felt like a promising fit. 

‍

The summit brought together an inspiring lineup of founders (Aleen Dreksler from Betches, Christine Chang from Glow Recipe and Sunnera Madhani from Stax Payments and Worth AI) who have carved their own paths in the wellness and beauty space, sharing honest stories about ambition, resilience, and building something from scratch.

While we’d love to see future editions expand into including even more talks about like tech, science, and innovation - tackling broader challenges shaping the world - the day sparked great conversation among our team. Some key topics that were explored included how to get traction in the first years of setting up a business and AI ending a business as usual approach to running a company.

 It was refreshing to step outside our usual day-to-day, experience something new together, and reflect on what kind of voices and ideas we want to learn from next.
