Forging a world which thrives under pressure
To mark the tenth anniversary of Rainbow Six Siege, Ubisoft invited us to create a set of identities that capture their vision for the future of counter terrorism gaming including the new celebratory title Siege X.
Creative Expression
Our creative mindset ‘We command the knife edge’ connects the entire R6 Franchise, while encompassing Siege’s story of contrast; attack and defence, light and shadow, staying controlled amongst the chaos. This set the standard for an identity that centred around explosive destruction grounded in tactical realism.
Juxtaposed against the explosive nature of the brand, we crafted an unwavering wordmark, strengthened by the last decade of battle and indestructibly engineered for years to come. Embedded within the wordmark is the ultimate symbol for physical destruction - the sledgehammer from the infamous in-game operator Sledge.
Destruction
Embodying the conflict of attack and defence within the brand was essential. Working closely with the Ubisoft R6 team we drew directly from the gritty environments and explosive onslaught in gameplay to craft a suite of immersive destruction assets which mirror the material behaviours and unpredictability of gameplay.
System
The atmosphere of our destruction assets is emphasised by a colour palette of tonal ranges and highlights. This allowed us to blend seamlessly into environments as well as cut through when needed.
The typographic system embodies optimisation, ensuring immediacy and structure whilst showcasing intelligence and strategy.

ESports Tournament
As well as crafting the master brand for Rainbow Six Siege X, we extended its visual language and toolkit across the esports ecosystem including Blast R6 Esports, Reload and Major events and Regional leagues’ identities. Blast R6 Esports brings together all brand pillars under one cohesive and powerful brand.
